Send an urgent message to Congress:

Trump's 2020 budget guts critical environmental programs that keep our families safe, protect our environment, and allow us to act on climate change. It's going to take all of us to stop these outrageous attacks.

URGENT: Trump's 2020 budget includes massive cuts to the EPA, DOE, and Interior. There's no time to waste: Tell Congress to oppose Trump's dirty budget »

Trump wants to slash $2.8 billion dollars from the EPA's budget, Kay.

This cut would decimate 31% of the EPA's budget — which means that more than 50 programs that protect our clean air and drinking water and advance our fight to solve the climate crisis could be ELIMINATED.

It gets worse: With additional cuts to the Department of Energy and Interior Department, our ability to protect our air, water, public lands, and communities will be severely undermined if Congress passes Trump's budget. We only have a few weeks to act, so we're working with our partners to show our members of Congress just how politically toxic it would be to pass this dirty budget. We only have a few weeks to act — will you add your name now?

We deserve to have a say in how our tax dollars are spent. Send a message to Congress and tell them you OPPOSE any cuts to environmental programs »

Budgets reflect priorities. Trump has made it clear that he'll do anything to support his Big Polluter pals by attempting to roll back, underfund, and attack our most important environmental programs. With 90% cuts to the programs that keep the Great Lakes and the Chesapeake Bay clean and 43% cuts to safeguards that keep toxins out of our air, Trump and EPA Administrator Wheeler are showing us just how little they value our air and waters.

Not only that, from Texas to California to Alaska, our communities are already experiencing the impacts of climate change. Yet Trump's 2020 budget proposes devastating cuts to critical clean energy research and development programs. We simply cannot afford to gut clean energy research and delay action to fight climate change.

Despite cutting the environmental programs our communities depend on, Trump's proposed 2020 budget actually dedicates billions of dollars of funding for his xenophobic and environmentally destructive border wall. We must promote policies of inclusion, safety, and security, not hate and bigotry in our immigration system. We cannot allow Trump to slash funding for environmental programs to build a symbol of hate along our southern border.

But there's hope: We have a right to participate in the budget process — Trump's budget is comprised of our tax dollars, so Congress can't support these dangerous cuts if the people show their opposition. That's why we're joining our partners to send a clear message to our elected representatives: We won't stand by as you gut critical programs that allow us to act on climate change and protect our clean air, water, and public lands.

We only have a few weeks to speak out: Tell Trump and Congress to increase, NOT cut, funding for environmental programs in the 2020 budget »

Thanks for standing with us to protect some of our most critical environmental programs.
