Governor DeSantis has until the end of June to wield his veto pen on the budget that has $90 million dedicated to M-CORES
Please act on this message!  Governor DeSantis cannot be left thinking it is OK to fund M-CORES, especially now.
Please email him at governorron.desantis@eog.myflorida.com to urge him to redirect those M-CORES funds to critical state needs.
See here for the letter 80 organizations, including Indivisible St Johns, sent to Governor DeSantis earlier this month for additional talking points.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help at our drive-through Feed the Change event today (June 20)! We helped feed 250+ needy families, gave out a lot of face masks, registered voters including some returning citizens, and helped 81 people enroll in Vote-by-Mail -- all from the safety and comfort of their cars! Blue Wave Coalition thanks Feeding NE Florida, Rev. Ron Rawls and his congregation, the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, and Organizing Together 2020 for coming together and making this event possible. It was a beautiful collaboration.

MORE OF US ARE RUNNING FOR OFFICE

Brenda Stratton
Soil & Water Conservation, District 4

I am so excited to be running for Office: Soil & Water Conservation
Dist. 4.  My husband, Brett, and I have 5 children.  Over the years my
volunteer work includes being involved with many PTAs.  I was
president of a  high school PTA  in Texas and also of the City Council
PTA and also worked on many PTA Committees.  I firmly believe that
education is the key to a future that works well for all of us.  One
of the most basic and actually fairly simple things to do for a
quality life for everyone  is to increase awareness and the
information available about  the environment including soil and water
conservation.   We are all dependent on each other regarding the
environment.

Jerry Dion
Airport Authority, Group 5

Anastasia Mosquito Control District Seat 1
Jan Cardia

I am running for Anastasia Mosquito Control District Seat 1 because I think I can make a difference.  I will use my financial acumen to make smart budgeting decisions while using my concern for our environment for product selection.  Jan Makes Sense!
