PROTECT OUR NEIGHBORHOODS Protest this Saturday

BRING YOUR SIGNS: "SAVE THE HISTORIC DISTRICT", "GOOD GOVERNMENT FOR THE PEOPLE", "NO MORE TRAFFIC"
Don't ignore our Planning and Zoning Board, City Code and the Comprehensive Plan.
Don't bail out a developer who badly underestimated the cost of his approved underground parking garage.
Don't ignore multiple egregious errors by city staff in the processing of the developers rezoning request and PUD expansion.
Know that rezoning three parcels of the Historic Preservation 5 (HP-5) district so that a developer can create 30 extra VALET-ONLY parking spots (while saving himself $5M) is a direct threat to the North City and Abbott Tract National Register Historic Districts.
Remember that three of our City Commissioners ignored 88% of the affected neighborhood households that turned in formal responses to the city and were not in favor of the rezoning and PUD expansion.
It's time to take a stand to make it clear to our elected officials that we will not accept them trading "livability" for tourism and selling out the public interest for private gain.
This Saturday, July 1st from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the sidewalk in front of the Spanish Quarter Best Western and Barnacle Bill's on W. Castillo Dr. we will hold a STREET PROTEST to voice opposition to the PUD expansion and its threat to the neighborhood. Please bring your signs, sunscreen and make your voices heard. Ice cold water with seats in the shade will be available.

Positively on behalf of St Augustine Residents Count,
Lee Geanuleas
