June 14, 2017 – Indivisible NE Florida, the coalition of grassroots advocacy
groups in Duval, Nassau, St. Johns, Clay, Flagler and Alachua counties, issued
the following statement today…..
“Today’s cowardly shooting incident in northern Virginia that targeted members of Congress engaged in an early morning sports event appears to be nothing short of a barbaric attempt to impede and intimidate the foundation of American democracy. There is no room in our political life for violence of any sort. Our more than 6,000 activist members stand united in prayer for the swift recovery of the victims and in support of their families and the brave first responders who risked their lives to minimize the casualties and put an end to this incident.”
