International Day of Human Rights Declaration Event 12/10/18 7PM

The event honors the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Residents from St. Johns, Flagler and Putnam Counties will join the international experience at The United Church (UCC – DOC), 5880 U.S. 1 south in St. Augustine, Monday, Dec. 10,  7:00PM.

Readings of individual Human Rights by local participants will be posted online by the United Nations. America’s key role in creating the Universal Declaration will set the stage for a community reading of the 30 Human Rights. St. Augustine’s contributions to human rights will be highlighted to an international audience. Participants will identify violations of human rights in St. Johns, Flagler and Putnam Counties for future action The event is sponsored by The United Church, Compassionate St. Augustine and Indivisible St. Johns.
