FLORIDA BILLS THAT NEED 'YES' VOTES BY OUR LEGISLATORS (UPDATE AT BOTTOM)

The Senate just passed SB 10 Water Resources this afternoon.  This bill provides bond funds for improvements to the watershed of central Florida, Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades. Remember the algae blooms on both coasts last year?  Looking to the status of the companion bill in the House, HB 761, it sits in three different committees, none of which are currently holing hearings on it.  This bill will die unless we raise a stink right now in the House.  Call the Chairs of the three below committees and demand that hearings be held and the bill forwarded to the House floor.
