A year ago, we celebrated the passage of HR1, the For the People Act, in the U.S. House of Representatives. This sweeping piece of legislation is the biggest democracy reform agenda we have seen since the Voting Rights Act, but it still hasn’t made it to the President’s desk.

Messages from our grassroots supporters helped put pressure on members of the U.S. House to support final passage of this legislation one year ago.
