On May 4th, 217 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives voted
for TrumpCare, a bill that would take away health care from 24 million
Americans, gut protections for millions of Americans with preexisting
conditions, defund Planned Parenthood, and cut $880 billion from
Medicaid for children, the sick, and persons with disabilities. All this
to fund a massive tax break for the wealthy and corporations.
The Payback Project, a joint effort of Indivisible, MoveOn, Town Hall
Project, and Women's March will track groups and events targeting these
217 members of Congress and amplify the work of everyday Americans
making them pay for their vote.
