We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to enact bold Green New Deal policies that will tackle climate change and inequity. With presidential candidates beginning to embrace the idea and public enthusiasm for it growing, we need to convince members of Congress to sign on.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ed Markey recently introduced landmark resolutions in support of a Green New Deal in the House and Senate. Getting as many members of Congress as possible to sign on now is the first step in our plan to build long-term power and lay the groundwork for enactment of a Green New Deal under a new administration.
